A Hand Up, Not Just a Handout!
Maslow Project’s philosophy is modeled after the Maslow Hierarchy of Needs. We believe in order for our young people to reach their full potential and be successful in school and life, they need to have their basic needs met first: food, water, shelter, clothing. Once emergency needs are addressed, then we can begin to connect our youth with additional support services such as education, counseling, mentoring, tutoring, and job skills.
