Mary Knepp is the Program Coordinator for the Maslow Project. She began her work in social services as a volunteer with the Children’s Advocacy Center while earning her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Southern Oregon University. After graduation, Mary worked as a Prevention Specialist with OnTrack, facilitating teen workshops and creating and running a behavior improvement program for elementary school-aged students.
Mary then went on to become the Family Resource Worker at Jackson Elementary School, assisting at-risk students and families with accessing basic needs and resources, and coordinating the Student Attendance Review Team.
After spending three years at Jackson Elementary, Mary had the opportunity to stay home and raise her two children full-time. She kept busy as a freelance writer and search engine quality rater.
Now, Mary is excited to join the Maslow team – writing grants and reports, collecting data, and assisting the Maslow caseworkers in any way she can to ensure that the Maslow Project is always available to any youth or family who needs its services.
