Talia Matthias was born and raised in Eureka California. After graduating high school Talia moved to Ashland to attend Southern Oregon University. While in her sophomore year of college Talia began working at Kid’s Unlimited at the Washington Elementary site. Talia then became a case manger and middle school site director for McLaughlin Middle School. She also facilitated three ‘girls groups’ in school, working with young ladies on building self-esteem and self-respect.

After graduating from SOU in 2007, with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and receiving a certificate in mediation Talia also began to work at Maslow Project as a case manager on site. And in 2008 became a full time Employee working in both case management and student support services, buying and delivering basic needs to kid’s and their families.
