Student Success Advocate
Alec Slinkard, a Student Success Advocate at South and Central Medford High Schools, works alongside students to assist them with their grades, attendance, and everyday lives in order to ensure their success during and after their high school conquests. He was born and raised in Medford, Oregon and graduated from St. Mary’s High School. In 2017, he earned a B.S. degree in Human Services through Southern Oregon University and has always had a passion for helping youth. Most recently, he worked at one of the top summer camps in the country, Gold Arrow Camp, where he won the “counselor of the year” award. He loves helping people in any way he can, and believes that giving people access to opportunities and resources is of the utmost importance.
When Alec is not at Maslow, he enjoys hanging out with his friends, rock climbing, working on his creative endeavors, and making the most out of every situation.
