Alex Fenimore, moved to Medford in the 7th grade and graduated from Phoenix High School. Once Alex graduated, she moved to the Oregon coast, where she attended Southwestern Oregon Community College and was a Resident Assistant. After two years on the coast, Alex transferred to Southern Oregon University to finish up her Bachelors of Science in Sociology and minors in Psychology, Gender, Sexuality and Women’s Studies. While going to school, Alex worked at the Behavioral Health Unit in the local hospital; upon graduating Alex was offered a job at Jackson County Mental Health as a case manager. Over the years, Alex has gained experience with community coordination, crisis intervention, client advocacy, harm reduction and skills training.
When Alex is not at work she can be found continuing her education, spending time with her two dogs, out in nature and partaking in community events. Alex is passionate about human rights, fare animal treatment, local government and recycling
