Student Success Advocate
Jace Hinesly grew up in southern California and attended Orange Coast College as a student athlete. He transferred to Southern Oregon University and graduated with a B.S in Outdoor Adventure Leadership. Jace traveled and worked as a lead program guide at a wilderness & horticulture therapy program in Hawaii prior to moving back to the Rogue Valley and working for Maslow Project. He utilizes his many years of experience coaching and mentoring youth to connect with students where they are and find creative ways to move forward and prosper in whatever they do.
Jace is passionate about all things wellness and betterment, from psychosocial to exercise and nutrition. He can often be found running around in the mountains above town, experimenting with new ways to better himself (i.e. yoga, wellness podcasts, and training himself to be ambidextrous), or watching a bunch of excellent movies!
