Cindy is passionate about facilitating equity for students, teaching life skills, encouraging confidence and the ability to self-advocate. She’s served on the Central Point School District Board of Directors for 30+ years. Cindy earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Communication, minoring in Honors, Ethics and Philosophy from Southern Oregon University. Additionally, Cindy earned Master Gardener certification from Oregon State University Extension. She has experience in the publishing industry as a writer, editor and author. Her lifelong interest is preserving history as an oral historian. Cindy loves her rural home and working the land. She spends as much time as she can outside. Cindy loves rescuing animals, riding her horses and her motorcycle, fly fishing, hunting morel mushrooms and spending time with her granddaughter Clementine, her sons, daughters-in-law and her husband Rod.
