Denise is an East Coast transplant, graduate of Arizona State University Anthropology Program with a focus on Disease, Wellness and Human Culture. Continued education at Portland State receiving a Social Service Competency Based Training Certificate. QMHA-R Certified. 25 years working in the Rogue Valley assisting low income at risk teens and families with children to overcome obstacles to gain self-sufficiency and balanced lives. Currently the Permanent Supportive Housing Case Manager with the Maslow Project, partnering with Jackson County Housing Authority and Oregon Department of Human Services Self Sufficiency. Denise works closely with recently housed formerly homeless clients and their families to gain skills, independence and self-sufficiency. Denise has an interest in a healthy environment and is creating Bat, Butterfly and Bees habitat on her rural acreage. She enjoys preserving her home harvested foods to share with family and friends.
