Nicole is one of our School based Case Managers working out of North Medford High School serving families and students attending NMHS and Hedrick Middle School. Nicole moved around a lot as a kid in both Southern Oregon and Southern California experiencing time as a homeless youth themself. After settling down in Josephine County and graduating from Grants Pass High, she went on to Southern Oregon University to further her education. They graduated in 2018 as a first-generation graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Criminology & Psychology, and a minor in Sociology/Anthropology. Since graduation, Nicole acquired certification as a Peer Support Specialist for Adult Addictions/Recovery while working at the Transitional Care Program with Jackson County for four and a half years. During her time with TCP they gained experience with University of Cincinnati's Cognitive Behavioral Therapy curricula, crisis intervention, trauma informed care, client advocacy, a familiarity with local resources, and facilitated life skills and employment groups.
